Does Unlocker replace Hostaway?
No, Unlocker is 100% complementary. Hostaway manages your bookings, Unlocker handles the money side: payment collection, splits, redistributions and compliance. The two work together through the API.
Can the integration change my Hostaway data?
No. Unlocker retrieves your properties, your bookings and the amounts to match payments and apply the split. Nothing is ever changed in your Hostaway account.
How long does setup take?
The connection takes a few minutes with your Account ID and your API key, both generated in Hostaway (Settings, Hostaway API). Your split rules are then set up with the help of our team.
Do I need a carte G?
No. Unlocker handles client funds for you. The split separates funds the moment they come in through dedicated IBANs, which puts you in line with the Hoguet Law (the 1970 French law regulating real estate professionals) without holding the carte G (the French property management license) yourself.
Does the split also pay my contractors?
Yes. Your contractors (cleaning, maintenance, linen) are included in your split rules and paid automatically with every payment, with no cash advance on your side.
Is my financial data secure?
