No, Unlocker is 100% complementary. Guesty manages your bookings, Unlocker handles the money side: payment collection, splits, flow tracking and compliance. The two work together through the API.
Can the integration change my Guesty data?
No. It is read-only: Unlocker retrieves your properties, bookings and amounts to match payments and apply the split. Nothing is ever changed on the PMS side.
Do I need a carte G?
No. Unlocker handles client funds for you. The split separates funds the moment they come in through dedicated IBANs, which puts you in line with the Hoguet Law (the 1970 French law regulating real estate professionals) without holding the carte G (the French property management license) yourself.
Does the split also pay my contractors?
